Tool scope. This Site Policy applies to the free GLS Star Citizen fan tools hosted under GLSyndicate.net, including the GLS Cargo Hauling Optimizer and GLS Salvage Optimizer, along with related pages and future non-commercial fan utilities unless a tool states otherwise.

Purpose

This site hosts free community tools and information created for members and players interested in Star Citizen and The Great Lakes Syndicate.

Privacy and Local Data

The Cargo Route Optimizer stores saved tool data locally in your browser using browser storage. The current tool does not require a GLS account or intentionally send your saved contract entries to a GLS account database. Normal web-server and infrastructure logs may still record technical information such as requests, timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and errors for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Cookies

The current Cargo Route Optimizer does not require advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party destinations reached through links may use their own cookies and tracking under their own policies.

Third-Party Data and Links

Community tools may use publicly available or third-party data services for functions such as location and route calculations. Links to RSI or other services leave this site. GLS does not control third-party sites, services, terms, privacy practices, or uptime.

Intellectual Property and Trademarks

GLS claims rights only in material it actually owns or authors. Star Citizen, Roberts Space Industries, Cloud Imperium, and related names, game assets, marks, and content belong to their respective owners. References to those properties are for identification and fan-community purposes and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or ownership by GLS.

Fan Site Status

This site is intended to operate as an unofficial fan site and community resource. It is separate from the official Roberts Space Industries website. Visitors can reach the official RSI website here.

The Great Lakes Syndicate

GLSyndicate.net is a convenience link that directs visitors to The Great Lakes Syndicate’s organization page hosted by Roberts Space Industries. JoinGLS.net is used to help prospective members reach GLS recruitment/community resources. Neither domain should be understood as an official Cloud Imperium or RSI domain.

Security and Abuse

Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, exploit, overload, reverse engineer restricted server functionality, or use the site to distribute malicious content. Access may be limited or blocked to protect the service and its users.

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated as additional GLS tools, subdomains, analytics, accounts, or other services are introduced. Material privacy changes should be reflected here before or when those features are deployed.
