Tool scope. These Terms apply to the free GLS Star Citizen fan tools hosted under GLSyndicate.net, including the GLS Cargo Hauling Optimizer and GLS Salvage Optimizer, along with related pages and future non-commercial fan utilities unless a tool states otherwise.

1. Community Service

Great Lakes Syndicate community tools are independently operated, unofficial fan resources provided for informational and entertainment purposes. They are not an official service of Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or their affiliates.

2. No Warranty

The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” Route calculations, cargo information, location data, game mechanics, and other outputs may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or affected by changes in Star Citizen. No guarantee is made that a calculated route will be available or optimal in game.

3. Route Planning

Route recommendations represent best-case planning based on available location and distance information. Actual travel can require extra quantum jumps or detours because of obstructions, available quantum paths, game navigation conditions, patches, or other circumstances not modeled by the tool.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for decisions made using the site. Verify important game information before committing cargo, currency, equipment, or other in-game resources.

5. Intellectual Property

Original GLS-authored site code, layout, tools, written material, and original GLS community branding are reserved by Great Lakes Syndicate and their respective authors. Star Citizen, Roberts Space Industries, Cloud Imperium, and all related game content, names, trademarks, logos, artwork, ships, locations, commodities, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this site transfers ownership of third-party intellectual property to Great Lakes Syndicate.

6. Free Access

The community tools are presently provided without an access fee. No statement on this site grants a license to commercially exploit third-party intellectual property.

7. External Services

The site may link to or rely on third-party websites, APIs, or data sources. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and GLS does not control their availability or accuracy.

8. Changes and Availability

Features, data, policies, and these terms may be changed or discontinued as the project evolves or as required to comply with third-party rules or applicable law.

9. Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site operators are not liable for losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on these community tools.

10. Organization Link

The primary GLS domain, GLSyndicate.net, is intended to direct visitors to the official Roberts Space Industries organization page for The Great Lakes Syndicate. That RSI-hosted organization page is operated on RSI’s platform; this community tool site remains unofficial and independently operated.
